The Boerboel is a rare dog breed from South Africa with roots stemming from Syria and Albania. The Boerboel is an obedient, intelligent, imposing and self-assured Mastiff.  The Boerboel was and always has been bred  for their temperament, as being an integrated family member. They are happiest in their family environment.
